ABSOLUT VODKA, Sweden 750ml

I was surprised by how smooth this vodka is straight—the grain character gives it a nice richness without any harsh burn. Perfect for a simple martini.

The dried fruit note comes through just enough to balance the grain, and it stays smooth even straight from the freezer. I’ve had a lot of vodkas that burn on the way down, but this one’s mellow from the first sip.

The grain character is what gets me every time—it’s so clean and full-bodied, yet the finish stays mellow instead of harsh. I’ve tried plenty of vodkas for martinis, but this one’s smoothness makes it my go-to for a cold, straight pour.
