The nose on this is already showing those smoky, leathery notes the description promised, and the palate is impressively fleshy without being heavy. I've bought a few bottles to see how it evolves over the next couple of years.

Opened this for a special dinner and the red fruit notes on the nose were immediately inviting, with that subtle smoky edge. The palate was beautifully structured, fleshy yet elegant, and it paired perfectly with the lamb. Definitely buying another bottle to cellar.
