ALTAMURA CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2008, Napa Valley

Opened it last night and was blown away by how the dark berry fruit stays concentrated even after an hour in the glass. The finish lingers with just the right tannic grip.

That balance of acidity and tannins really makes this one stand out—the fruit is bold but not overwhelming, and it's got a nice firm structure. I've been sipping it over a couple of evenings, and it just keeps evolving. Definitely a solid Napa cab for the price.
