Opened this for a quiet Tuesday dinner and the toasted vanilla oak hits right away, then settles into that deep macerated cherry core. The finish with the autumn leaves and burning vine cuttings notes is surprisingly long, almost smoky in the best way. Wish I'd bought more than one bottle.
