BRAVIUM PINOT NOIR 2023, Anderson Valley

That crushed rock and wood smoke on the finish really sets this apart from your typical fruity pinot—it’s got that extra layer of depth. The bright acidity kept every sip feeling fresh, and I already wish I’d bought a second bottle to cellar for a few years.

The strawberry and raspberry notes are exactly what I hoped for, and that crushed rock minerality gives it a nice backbone. Paired it with roasted duck last night and the fine-grained tannins held up beautifully. Already bought a second bottle to cellar.

The strawberry rhubarb and raspberry notes really come through nicely, and the fine-grained tannins give it a smooth finish. I just wish the aging potential was a bit more clearly stated on the bottle for planning purposes.
