That hint of hay on the nose is so subtle but really adds a nice earthy layer to the cherry and strawberry fruit. It’s light and fresh enough to sip on its own, but the balanced acidity made it a perfect match for my roasted chicken dinner.

I popped this open on a quiet Tuesday and the cherry and strawberry notes came through just as the label promised, with that faint hay hint making it feel a bit more rustic than your average Pinot. It stayed light and fresh from first sip to last, so I didn’t even need to pair it with anything fancy

The gentle acidity and clean finish make this such an easy-drinking red for weeknight dinners. Noticed that hay note you mention, which balances nicely with the bright cherry fruit. Will be buying another bottle soon.
