Opened it last night with some roast chicken and the balance of fruit and earth was spot on for a Grand Cru. The texture is surprisingly silky for such a young wine, and it paired beautifully without overpowering the meal.

This Grand Cru’s finish is so long I actually checked my watch between sips. The 2023 vintage has that bright, red-fruit lift up front, but it’s the silky texture that keeps pulling me back to the glass.

The cork came out clean and the nose was already complex—dark fruit with that classic earthy Burgundy depth. Even at this young age, the tannins are silky and the finish lingers nicely. Definitely worth cellaring a few more years if you can resist.
