FORTANT SAUVIGNON BLANC 2023, France

Opened this with some soft goat cheese and the citrus notes really shone through. Perfect light sipper for a warm afternoon.

Chilled a bottle for a picnic last weekend and it was perfect for a hot afternoon—that tropical hint really comes through without being sweet, and it cut through the brie beautifully. The mineral finish kept it feeling crisp and clean to the last glass.

The citrus and mineral notes give it a real crispness, but there's enough tropical fruit to keep it interesting. Grabbed a bottle for a lazy afternoon and it was just perfect with some fresh cheese. Definitely what I want in a warm-weather white.
