FRANCOIS LE SAINT SANCERRE ROUGE 2020

Opened this with dinner last night and was surprised by how bright and lively it is for a Pinot Noir. The organic farming really seems to come through in the clean, pure fruit flavor.

I’m no expert, but this Sancerre rouge really opened up beautifully after about an hour. The organic touch gives it a clean, pure taste that stood out. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy Pinot Noirs with some earthy depth.

Drank a bottle with grilled lamb last weekend, and the organic Pinot Noir had just enough earthiness to cut through the fat without overpowering the meat. It's a solid Sancerre Rouge that drinks well now.
