The caraway and fennel come through first, then that vanilla and juniper finish sneaks up on you. Sipping it cold straight from the freezer is the move, and the sherry cask aging gives it a roundness I didn't expect at this price.

Wasn't sure what to expect from an aquavit aged in sherry casks, but the golden root and juniper come through beautifully while the vanilla makes it dangerously easy to sip alone. Half the bottle's already gone.

The juniper and angelica give it this piney, almost savory edge that I wasn't expecting from an aquavit, and the sherry cask aging rounds it out with a soft vanilla finish. Sipped it straight from the freezer last weekend and it went down dangerously easy.
