KOKOMO CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2022, Sonoma

The black fruit and cassis flavors hit you right away, and those big tannins give it a nice structure that softens up after about an hour in the decanter. Picked this up for a steak dinner and it paired perfectly without being too heavy.

Opened it last night with a grilled ribeye and the dusty soil and anise notes really came through. The tannins are big but not harsh, balanced out by all that black fruit. Definitely one of the better Sonoma Cabs I've had in a while.
