LEROUX CREME DE CASSIS 750ml

I was a bit skeptical about the "tangy" note in the description, but it's exactly that brightness that cuts through cocktails perfectly. This bottle makes a killer kir royale without being overly sweet.

The color alone is a dead giveaway—that deep blood-red pour looks incredible in a cocktail. I mixed it with sparkling water and the tangy blackcurrant cut through perfectly, though I'll admit it's a touch sweeter than I usually go for.

I was nervous it would be syrupy sweet, but that tangy, blood-red blackcurrant depth keeps it surprisingly bright in a champagne cocktail. The 750ml bottle is already half gone after a week of evening kir royals.
