METAXA OUZO, Greece 750ml

I was really impressed by how smooth this is despite the strong anise kick—it's much more balanced than other spirits I've tried. The mix of herbs and crushed grapes comes through nicely without being overwhelming. Perfect for sipping slowly on a warm evening.

The herbs and crushed grape base give it a warmth that hits right after the anise fades—sipping it neat over ice feels like a proper Greek evening. The 750ml bottle's lasted me through several long chats, and I've already got a second one lined up.

The anise flavor is just perfect, not overpowering but definitely there. Poured a couple shots over ice and it turned that milky white color you want, smooth and aromatic.
