NOAH RIVER PINOT NOIR 2024, California

The mint and Asian spice on the nose really caught me off guard in a good way, and it paired beautifully with a spicy lamb gyro. For under $15, this is an easy weekday red that has more complexity than I expected.

The dark cherry cola and tea flavors come through exactly as described, and it had enough body to stand up to the lamb gyro I paired it with. A solid, well-balanced pinot that’s become my new go‑to weekday pour.

The Asian spice and mint on the nose gave this an unexpected complexity for a California Pinot. It paired perfectly with a lamb gyro, just as described. Definitely grabbing another bottle for next week's dinner.
