The tannins are so perfectly integrated, giving it an elegant structure that doesn't overpower the fruit. That dried cherry and chocolate finish just lingers beautifully.

The nose on this is incredible — black currant and dried cherries jump right out. The tannins are smooth and focused, making it feel elegant from the first sip. Well worth the 96 points Parker gave it.

Opened this with some skepticism given the price, but the black currant and dried cherry notes are incredibly vivid. The tannins are perfectly integrated, giving it a silky finish that lasted well into the next sip. That 96-point score is well earned.
