TRUE MYTH CHARDONNAY 2023, Edna Valley

Poured this with a cream sauce pasta last night and the oaky richness paired perfectly without overwhelming the dish. It's got enough body to stand up to the meal, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

The tropical fruit notes are really upfront on the nose, but that oaky finish balances it out perfectly. Picked up a bottle to pair with a creamy pasta dish and it held up beautifully without overwhelming the food.

I usually shy away from oaky Chardonnays, but the tropical fruit notes here balance the oak beautifully—full-bodied enough to hold up against a garlic cream sauce I made last night. The finish is surprisingly smooth, not at all heavy.
