WHIPLASH CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2021, California

Opened this with dinner last night and the tannins were surprisingly smooth for a California cab. It had that rich dark fruit depth you want but finished clean, not heavy. Perfect with a steak.

Poured a glass after letting it breathe for about 30 minutes and the smooth finish really stood out. Perfect balance of boldness without being too heavy, which made it great with grilled steak. Definitely picking up another bottle soon.
