CASTLE ROCK PETITE SIRAH 2019, California

Opened this after dinner and the mocha note really came through on the finish, which was a nice surprise. It's got enough bold structure to stand up to a hearty pasta dish but doesn't feel heavy. For the price, this is a solid everyday red.

This one’s got that jammy dark fruit punch I was hoping for, and the mocha kick lingers just enough to keep every sip interesting. It’s bold without feeling heavy, so it worked great with a casual steak night. Definitely grabbing another bottle before it’s gone.
