That honeyed, toasty oak note carries right through to the sip, and the ripe pear and citrus zest keep it feeling fresh rather than heavy. I opened it with a simple roast chicken and the full-bodied mouthfeel held up beautifully. This is the kind of bottle I’ll grab again for a weeknight pour.
