El 2011 Altagracia es redondo, sexy, suave y hermoso, especialmente en el contexto del año. Las dulces bayas rojas, la menta, el tabaco, las hierbas sabrosas y el anís se funden en un vino distintivo con mucha personalidad. Con el tiempo en la copa, el vino se redondea muy bien, mientras que los sabores se vuelven más oscuros, ricos y con más capas. Altagracia es una mezcla de principalmente fruta de Eisele, más un poco de Vine Hill Ranch, un sitio con buen drenaje en Oakville que está entre los mejores del Valle de Napa.

The nose is absolutely classic Napa—mint and tobacco with a surprising lift of anise. On the palate it's round and supple, not heavy at all, and the sweet red berry fruit carries through a long finish. This 2011 really over-delivers for the vintage.
