Le 2011 Altagracia est rond, sensuel, souple et magnifique, surtout dans le contexte de l'année. De douces baies rouges, de la menthe, du tabac, des herbes savoureuses et de l'anis se mêlent dans un vin distinctif plein de personnalité. Altagracia est un assemblage composé principalement de fruits d'Eisele, plus un peu de Vine Hill Ranch, un site bien drainé à Oakville qui compte parmi les meilleurs de la Napa Valley.

The nose is absolutely classic Napa—mint and tobacco with a surprising lift of anise. On the palate it's round and supple, not heavy at all, and the sweet red berry fruit carries through a long finish. This 2011 really over-delivers for the vintage.
