The black cherry and plum notes are incredibly intense on the nose, just as described. It's beautifully structured with that cedar and toast complexity, and it paired perfectly with a simple roast.

Opened this with dinner last night and the black cherry and plum notes were incredibly concentrated. The cedar and toast on the finish gave it a nice complexity without being overpowering. Still has plenty of life left in it.

Twenty-five years in the bottle and it's still holding that cedar and toast backbone beautifully. The plum comes through on the mid-palate while the tar note keeps the finish interesting—exactly the structure you'd hope for from this vintage.
