I was skeptical about chocolate with chili, but the balance here is perfect—the ancho and chipotle give a subtle warmth that fades into the sweet cherries. Each bite has a nice mix of smooth dark chocolate and chewy fruit. Definitely buying again.

The heat from the ancho and chipotle chilies creeps up slowly, but the dried cherries really do balance it out nicely. I broke off a square after dinner and the 55% cocoa gives it a deep, satisfying bite without being too bitter.

The cherry chunks are a perfect counterbalance to the smoky chili kick—each bite is a little surprise. I love that the heat builds gradually rather than hitting all at once. This bar is dangerously easy to finish in one sitting.
