The aromatics on this one really surprised me — violets and dark cherry jump out of the glass before you even swirl it. For a grape that's supposedly hard to get right, this drinks smooth and lively, and I love that it's organic too.

I usually find Ruche a bit rustic, but this 2023 pours with a softness I didn't expect from such a fussy grape. There's a floral lift on the nose and a dry, almost savory finish that kept me going back for a second glass. Organic too, which is a nice bonus.
