That forest floor and black pepper note really comes through on the nose, exactly as described. Paired it with a beef stew and the supple tannins cut through the richness perfectly. For the price, this has way more structure and length than I expected from a Bourgogne.

Opened it with a simple Sunday roast, and that promise of black pepper and red cherry really came through—the tannins were smooth enough to not overpower the meat. Exactly the kind of easy-drinking Burgundy I was hoping for, with enough structure to keep things interesting through the last sip.

Poured a glass with some roast chicken and the black pepper note really came through nicely — smooth tannins made it an easy drink even on its own. This red has that earthy forest floor character I always look for in a good Burgundy.
