The black cherry and toasted oak notes hit right away, and the finish is smooth enough to sip on its own. It paired beautifully with a simple steak dinner, and even my picky friends wanted a second glass.

Pouring this felt like a small event—the nose alone is packed with dark fruit and that tobacco edge, and the palate delivers on every promise. A solid 30 minutes in the glass and the black olive note really came through, making it a perfect match for a slow-roasted lamb dish.
