This Dolcetto is incredibly smooth for a wine with such a powerful flavor—the Amarena cherry notes really come through. I had it with a simple pasta dish and the balance was spot on, making the whole meal feel elevated. Already planning to grab another bottle.

I was pleasantly surprised by how soft and balanced this wine felt on the palate, even though it’s described as powerful. Paired it with a simple pasta dish and it held up beautifully from start to finish.

Opened it with some grilled lamb chops and the Amarena cherry note really came through on the nose. The palate is soft but persistent, just as described, though I’d say it’s best with food rather than sipping alone.
