X 바이 글렌모렌지 싱글 몰트 스카치 믹싱용, 스코틀랜드 750ml

I was skeptical about a single malt designed specifically for mixing, but the sweeter profile really shines in a simple cocktail. The rich body holds up well against ice and mixer without getting lost.

Tried this in a highball and it actually held its own against the soda without getting lost. The sweeter finish makes it less harsh than other single malts I've used for mixing, and the aroma is surprisingly complex for something meant to be mixed.

Finally, a scotch that actually works in a cocktail without getting lost – the sweeter profile makes a huge difference in a Penicillin. The aroma is noticeably richer than my usual mixing whisky, and it blends smoothly without that harsh edge. I've been through half the bottle already.
