ARAUJO EISELE CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2009 (ORGANIC)

Silky tannins really make this Cabernet stand out -- it’s smooth from the first sip but still has that classic structure. The organic grapes come through in a clean, pure finish that lingers nicely. Definitely a standout from the 2009 vintage.

The nose on this is absolutely gorgeous — that mix of red fruit and dark earth is something special. Even after all these years, the tannins are silky and the finish just keeps going. A really impressive bottle that shows what careful aging can do.

I opened this last night with grilled lamb chops and the juicy red fruit notes came through beautifully, even after a few hours of air. It’s definitely past its youthful phase but the structure is holding strong—a real treat for a special occasion.
