Actor Ryan Reynolds is the face of Aviation gin. Now that we have that out of the way, let's focus on what's in the bottle. The botanicals for Aviation gin include cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla, juniper, and two kinds of orange peel. These are infused with a neutral grain spirit. This infusion is distilled to a 'heart cut' of 142 and blended with pure water to achieve the desired 84 proof. The end result is a very smooth and balanced gin interesting enough to drink solo, but deliciously versatile for an infinite range of cocktails.
