Made from 100% Pinot Noir, they showcase structure and depth unlike some other areas of Burgundy which focus on elegance and refinement. Here Bouchard Pere et Fils excels at crafting powerfully aromatic wines owning robust structure and firm tannins. Dense layers of black licorice, black cherry, blackcurrant and raspberry fruit are wedded to chewy tannins and a full, broad palate. Try it with roast leg of lamb with rosemary, herbed duck breast or venison rib rack.
