Category: PINOT NOIR

An excellent introduction to Pommard from a winery that was founded in 1731. Neither rustic or refined, Pinot Noir is presented here with a slight rigidity and lightly muscled texture. Generous floral notes entice, suppported by blackberry, raspberry, cherry and subtle oak spice on the narrow palate. As the tannins soften with time, the overall balance of the wine should remain. Consider Comte, Epoisses, or Beef Bourguignon for pairing.

Lucy M. ★★★★★

The floral notes really come through on the nose, and the texture has that nice firm structure without being harsh. Pairs beautifully with roast chicken.

Hannah ★★★★★

Opened this with dinner last night and the floral notes really came through beautifully. The lightly muscled texture gave it enough grip to stand up to roasted chicken without being overwhelming. Already thinking about getting another bottle.

Scarlett M. ★★★★★

That slight rigidity in the structure really makes it a great food wine—paired beautifully with a roast chicken. The floral notes come through nicely on the nose without being overpowering.
