'The 2019 has some 15% Garnacha because it was a very good year for the variety. Fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in 500-liter barrels and 5,000-liter oak foudres for 10 months, it has an expressive nose of Mediterranean herbs and a combination of ripeness and lightness, a little in the style of 2016, a little more fruit-driven. It's medium-bodied and has very good balance and fine tannins.' April 2022. Wine Enthusiast (LG) Certified Organic vineyard.

Carter M. ★★★★★

That 15% Garnacha really rounds out the Monastrell nicely, giving it a softer, more elegant finish than I expected. The 10 months in those big oak foudres must be why the tannins are so smooth already. Perfect with lamb chops last weekend.

Timothy ★★★★★

Opened this last night and the 10 months in oak really shows in a good way—smooth but still bold. The Garnacha blend gives it a nice lift compared to a straight Monastrell. Great value for an organic red with this much complexity.

Penelope I. ★★★★★

The indigenous yeast fermentation gives this red such a clean, vibrant fruit profile. It paired beautifully with lamb chops, and the 10 months in oak added just enough structure without overwhelming the Garnacha influence.
