From an excellent year for Sauternes, is certainly one of this property's greatest wines. Well structured with excellent acidity, and a deep, long, rich, full-bodied, viscous texture, this wine, despite the richness and power, is neither heavy nor cloying. It has gorgeous balance and a very long, lingering, spectacular finish. One of the great successes of the vintage.

William H. ★★★★★

Poured a glass last night and that viscous, almost syrupy texture clung beautifully to the glass. The structure and depth from the '83 vintage really shine through, making it feel like a special occasion in a small bottle.

Ava O. ★★★★★

The acidity really balances the rich, full-bodied texture perfectly — even at this half-bottle size, it’s incredibly deep and long on the finish. For a dessert wine from such a great vintage, the structure is outstanding.

Brian ★★★★★

Even at half-bottle size, the viscous texture and deep richness are incredibly concentrated—this is a dessert wine that truly delivers on its full-bodied promise. The structure and acidity keep it from being cloying, making it perfect for sipping slowly after a rich meal.
