Delirium Red from the Huyghe Brewery is a Belgian Fruit Ale that pours a deep dark red color; its light pink, compact head leaves fine lacing as it recedes. It offers a soft, sour cherry aroma with hints of almond, berry, banana, and clove. Taste is sweet and fruity, but not cloyingly so - bready malt flavor and some tartness add balance. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a fine, creamy carbonation. The 8% ABV is not apparent, and the finish is dry, clean, and crisp.

Scarlett M. ★★★★★

The sour cherry aroma hits you right away when you pop the can, and that light pink head clings to the glass nicely. It’s a smooth, easy drink for a fruit ale without being too sweet. Perfect for a relaxing evening.

Eli M. ★★★★★

That deep dark red color really is gorgeous, and the light pink head left an impressive lacing all the way down the glass. The soft, sour cherry aroma is so inviting, and the flavor delivers exactly what that scent promises.

John B. ★★★★☆

The sour cherry aroma is exactly what you get on the first sip—nice and tart without being syrupy. The compact pink head faded fast, but the lacing it left on the glass was pretty. Solid pick for a fruity ale, just wish the carbonation held up a bit longer.
