"A vibrant, focused and deliciously complex red. offering rasberry, cherry, cinnamon, mocha and subtle sage notes rollinig through the rolling through the long and expressive finish. Deft. Reviewed October 2013. Wine Spectator (HS)" 2010 Vintage Tasted: Jan 2013 Dense, dark and spicy, this opens with a thicket of briar and bramble—one almost wants to say thistle—wrapped around taut, compact black fruits. There is a hint of gun metal running through the palate, and as the wine warms and slowly opens, it reveals a lingering finish with a little pat of butter left on the tongue. This should be in fine shape for at least another decade. LIVE Certified vineyard.

Elizabeth B. ★★★★★

That long finish with the mocha and sage really makes this wine stand out—it’s not just fruit forward. Perfectly balanced and smooth, I’ll be buying another bottle.

Avery S. ★★★★★

The raspberry and cherry notes really shine in this wine, and that subtle sage on the finish is lovely. It’s complex and smooth, but the long finish made it feel special for a quiet dinner at home.

Eva ★★★★☆

Opened this with dinner last night and the raspberry and cherry flavors really came through nicely. The finish was longer than I expected for a Pinot of this age.
