A Paso Robles red blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Graciano, Tempranillo, and Carignan. Deep garnet-purple colored with bold notions of ripe black plums, blackberry preserves, and black cherries. The full-bodied palate has solid frame of fine-grained tannins finishing on a lingering anise note.

Thomas J. ★★★★★

The blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre gives it a really nice complexity — the black cherry notes come through beautifully without being too jammy. Finished a bottle with lamb chops last night and it paired perfectly. Definitely picking up another case.

That deep garnet color is exactly what I look for in a Paso red, and the blackberry preserves note really comes through on the palate. It's got a nice richness that pairs perfectly with a grilled steak.

Halfway through the bottle I realized I hadn't touched my plate—that deep garnet color is a warning, because the black plum and cherry notes are so lush they practically demand another glass. It's bold but not clumsy, and the blend of six grapes gives it a complexity that kept me sniffing the glass
