"Tasting Note: Being dry farmed, the berries are tiny and hence this wine is a deep ruby/garnet color. Aromas are striking. Ripe blackberry and dark plum, but with a little dark cherry-like fruit with a matching component of toasty French Oak. A lovely palate with a silky yet dense mouth-coating impression. Dry farming means intensity! Pairs perfectly with nearly all red meat, including prime rib, NY Strip and filet mignon. Also try lamb or pepper-crusted ahi tuna. Drink now through 2040. Anything with a reduction sauce will get it right. This wine is 100% single vineyard. 100% single variety, and 100% single appellation." - Producer. Regenerative.

Nicholas ★★★★★

The aromas hit you right away — ripe blackberry and dark plum with a hint of cherry underneath. Knowing it's dry farmed explains the concentration; those tiny berries really packed the flavor

Olivia ★★★★★

The deep ruby color is stunning, and the aromas of ripe blackberry and dark plum hit you right away. You can really taste the concentration from those tiny, dry-farmed berries.

Opened this for a quiet Friday dinner and the blackberry and dark plum just poured out of the glass. For a dry-farmed Alexander Valley cab, the fruit stays ripe without going jammy, which is exactly what I want.
