Tasting notes from The Glenrothes for their 'The 15' single malt Scotch whisky - "AROMA - Dark brown sugar, baked orchard fruits and bright spice. Hazelnut praline, candied orange peel and maple syrup are complimented by toasted oak and soft worn leather. TASTE - Caramelised pears, dark chocolate and sweet baking spices - cinnamon, clove and cardamom. Pecan pie, crystallised ginger and orange marmalade. Soft, rich and mouth-coating. FINISH - Rich, sweet and silky with lingering bright spice." For 15 years this spirit rests in European oak Sherry seasoned casks.
