This Pinot Noir (Spatburgunder in German) hails from Baden in the southwest corner of Germany, east of the Rhine River. Light to medium-bodied, it offers cherry, strawberry and wild berry fruit coupled with a hint of red licorice and mild earthiness. A pleasant cleansing acidity also lifts the wine on the palate. Dry. Nicholas H. ★★★★★

The cherry and strawberry notes really shine through in this light-bodied Pinot, making it perfect for a casual weeknight dinner. I was surprised how smooth it drank for a 2019, and it paired beautifully with roasted chicken. Definitely a solid choice if you enjoy elegant, fruit-forward reds.

George V. ★★★★★

Opened this with dinner and the wild berry notes came through exactly as described, light enough that it didn't overpower the food. The cherry finish lingered just long enough to make the next sip feel like a treat.

Sofia B. ★★★★★

Lighter than most Pinots I've tried but still full of flavor—the strawberry notes really come through without being too tart. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.
