Composed of a mash bill containing 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 12% malted barley, the John E. Fitzgerald Larceny Batch A123 Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon is a collision of rich aromatics and a supple, sweet palate. Matured for an estimated 6+ years, Batch A123 Larceny was released in January 2023 and bottled at a bold 125.8 proof. On the nose are hues of black herbal tea, citrus, dried cherries in honey, and spice. The palate follows with sweet chocolate, cinnamon, cloves, and peaches seasoned with coconut. John E. Fitzgerald Larceny Batch A123 finishes long with warm raisins in butter, more chocolate, and toasted cinnamon sticks. A delight in every sense, this is a bourbon for the distinguished collector and cult bourbon-lover alike!

Avery C. ★★★★★

The proof on this batch is just right—enough warmth to feel it but smooth enough to sip neat. That wheated mash bill gives it a soft, almost creamy mouthfeel I wasn't expecting from a barrel proof.

Elizabeth ★★★★★

The 68% corn and 20% wheat mash gives this a creamy mouthfeel that coats the tongue beautifully. At 124.5 proof, it’s intense but surprisingly smooth with a warm, lingering finish.

Victoria ★★★★★

The wheat really smooths out that high proof — I was surprised how sippable it is neat. The corn sweetness comes through nicely without being cloying.
