Category: CHARDONNAY

The Dance bottling is part of the prestigious Long Shadows portfolio from Washington State and carries a Columbia Valley appellation. The Chardonnay fruit was sourced from vineyards in White Bluffs and Yakima Valley, namely French Creek and Boushey. Winemaker Gilles Nicault has experimented with Chardonnay since the beginning of the Long Shadows collaboration to perfect a proprietary fermentation process and stye found in this wonderfully expressive wine. The winemaker's notes state the wine is "Deeply aromatic and wonderfully stylish, offering a core of Honeycrisp apple, salted caramel, mouthwatering lemon curd and toasted brioche flavors. Hints of minerality and balanced acidity add to the complexity of the wine while leaving a harmonious brightness and creamy texture on the finish." Less than 950 cases were produced from the 2022 vintage. Sustainable.

Victoria Y. ★★★★★

Poured a glass last night and that White Bluffs fruit really shines through—bright apple with a smooth, lingering finish. It's balanced enough for sipping solo but held its own alongside a simple roast chicken. Already thinking about grabbing another bottle.

Natalie ★★★★★

We’ve been through a lot of Washington whites and this one stands out—the White Bluffs sourcing really shows in the bright, mineral-driven finish. It’s smooth enough for a weeknight pour but has enough depth that I’m already grabbing a second bottle.

Kevin A. ★★★★★

Opened it last night with roasted chicken and was surprised by how bright and lively it felt for a Washington Chardonnay. That White Bluffs fruit gives it a nice mineral edge without being too oaky or heavy. Definitely grabbing another bottle for the weekend.
