What makes this wine so incredible and sought-after is the fact that the family harvests the grapes from some of the ripest grapes of three different plots in the highest elevation of their vineyards. The cool climate at the higher elevation delays the fermentation process of Nebbiolo, resulting in high levels of tannins.

100% Nebbiolo. For all the big and bold wine lovers out there - This wine shows phenomenal structure to it with fantastic linear tannins that take this wine deep and long on the palate. A beautiful balance of ripe fruit characterized by strawberry and orange-peel undertones. Lots of red and black berry fruits, crushed violets, licorice, and spicy notes give way to a medium to full-bodied Barbaresco with plenty of tannins, good acidity, abundant mid-palate depth, and a great finish.

Sofia F. ★★★★★

You can really taste the difference the higher elevation grapes make — this has a depth and structure I haven't found in other Barbarescos. It's been a fantastic bottle to let breathe for an hour and enjoy over dinner.

Leo H. ★★★★★

The fruit from those highest-elevation plots really shines through—this 2015 Barbaresco has incredible depth without being heavy. Opened it for a Sunday roast and it was smooth enough to enjoy young but clearly built to age.

Aurora ★★★★★

The way those three plots from the highest vineyard elevation come together in the glass is just stunning. I opened a bottle last weekend and it was incredibly layered and complex without being heavy. This 2015 is everything I hoped it would be.
