STOUT FAMILY SAUVIGNON BLANC 2019, Napa - Main image
$17.48 $23.95 In stock

Winemaker Tom Rinaldi, famous for crafting some of the finest Sauvignon Blanc in Napa Valley (ie, Duckhorn & Provenance), has again selected a stunning lot for a 90th year celebration of our beloved Granny Rae. A light, crisp wine with fruit sourced from the cooler regions of Napa Valley. This refreshing wine has a bright aromatic quality of white flowers with a mineral energy and citrus character. It is a fine expression of Sauvignon Blanc with a balanced crisp elegant finish. Aged 3 months in neutral French oak. 90 points, Wine Enthusiast.

Timothy ★★★★★

The 2019 Napa fruit really shows here — bright grapefruit and a mineral finish that lingers longer than I expected from a Sauvignon Blanc at this price. Tom Rinaldi clearly knows his way around this grape, and you can taste the Duckhorn-era polish in every glass.

Picked this up for a birthday dinner and the citrus-and-grass balance is exactly what I want in a Napa Sauvignon Blanc — bright but not sharp. The 2019 vintage still tastes fresh, and knowing it came from a 90th-year lot makes it feel a little special.

Tom Rinaldi's track record with Duckhorn really shows here—this Sauvignon Blanc has that perfect balance of minerality and fruit without going overboard. A fitting choice for a 90th year celebration.
