Those strange American hops really come through on the finish, balancing the chocolate malt perfectly. It pours dark with a nice tan head, and the Mexican sugar keeps it from getting too bitter. My six-pack didn’t last the weekend.

The Mexican sugar gives it a smooth, almost caramel-like finish that balances the hop bite perfectly. Poured this for my family after Christmas dinner and even the non-stout drinkers went back for a second bottle.

That chocolate malt really comes through, making this porter taste like a boozy Christmas cookie in the best way. The strange hops give it a nice bitter edge to balance all that sweetness. I’ve already ordered another pack for the holidays.
