TULIP TREE FOXGLOVE (8 OZ) - Main image
$12.71 $16.95 In stock

All of Tulip Tree's products are made by hand, using microbial rennet that is vegetarian-friendly, with milk from Country Meadows Farm, a sixth generation grazing dairy farm located in northeast Indiana. A majority of the herd at Country Meadows Farm are a2 producing.

Foxglove is a double cream, washed rind (stinky) cheese with a soft consistency when young and breaks down to a runny/scoopable cheese as it ages. It has an earthy, more pungent flavor created by a mixture of cultures (yeast, salt & beer) applied on the distinctive orange-colored rind. If you enjoy Epoisses style cheeses, this cheese may hit the spot. Aged four to twelve weeks. Pastuerized Cow's Milk.

Adam ★★★★★

The fact that they use vegetarian-friendly microbial rennet sealed it for me — I can finally enjoy a proper cheese without compromise. You can taste the care that goes into the handcrafted process, and knowing the milk comes from a family farm in northeast India makes it feel special.

William D. ★★★★★

The texture is wonderfully creamy, and knowing it uses vegetarian-friendly rennet makes me feel good about my purchase. I’ve been using it in my morning eggs and it melts perfectly without being too salty.

Harper G. ★★★★★

I opened the package and was immediately struck by the lovely, soft floral note from the rennet—it’s so delicate it doesn’t overpower the cheese at all. The texture is firm yet yields beautifully, and knowing the milk comes from a sixth-generation grazing dairy makes each bite feel special.
