The minty note on the finish is what sets this apart—it keeps the redcurrant and blackberry fruit tasting fresh instead of heavy. Opened a bottle with grilled lamb and it held up beautifully over two hours, no rough edges at all. For the price, it's easily the best Bordeaux I've grabbed this year.

Brought this to a casual dinner and everyone asked what I was drinking — the blackberry fruit is bold but not jammy, and it pairs perfectly with roast chicken. For under fifteen bucks, this is easily one of the best Bordeaux values I've found.
