Decided to decant this for a few hours before serving, and the rose and sandalwood aromas really opened up beautifully. For a 2015 Barolo, it still tastes remarkably youthful but with that elegant, suave texture that makes it perfect for a special dinner.

Cracked this 3L bottle for a family dinner and the rose and camphor aromas filled the room the second the cork came out. The palate is as succulent as promised, and it easily stretched through the whole evening without losing a step. Worth every penny for a special occasion.
