For a 1er Cru at this price point, the balance is unreal — that classic Chassagne minerality with just enough roundness on the mid-palate. Drank it over two nights and it held up beautifully on day two, which is always the real test for me.

Opened this Chassagne-Montrachet last night and the 1er Cru minerality immediately cut through the richness—perfect balance. It's got that classic Burgundy finesse, all flinty and floral, without being shy. Paired beautifully with a simple roast chicken.

Brought this to a dinner party and it was the first bottle emptied—the balance of rich fruit and that subtle minerality is just perfect. The 1er cru pedigree really shows in how layered the flavor is, even this young.
