Picked up a bottle after enjoying the younger version, and the extra two years really smooth out the edges while keeping that nice rye bite. The spice is there but it’s more balanced, not overwhelming. Definitely worth tracking down if you can find it.

I was a bit skeptical about the six-year age claim, but the spiciness is well-balanced and not harsh at all. It's smooth enough to sip neat, which is rare for a rye in this price range.

The extra two years of aging really rounds out the spice without losing that classic rye kick. Poured a couple fingers neat and it was smooth enough to sip without a chaser, with a long, warm finish.
